Saturday will culminate with a formal Gala to celebrate the past 50 years of the Peace Corps and energize the community for the next 50 years. NPCA is honored to have Chris Matthews, Host of Hardball and RPCV Swaziland as the event Emcee.

Entertainment: Crystal Bowersox, American singer-songwriter will be the headline performer. Crystal’s music speaks to the spirit of the Peace Corps through thought-provoking lyrics on the progress of the world and soulful, inspired rhythms.
Presentation: Kevin Quigley address (President of the National Peace Corps Association), Sargent Shriver Distinguished Humanitarian Award
Dinner: First course, main course, wine, dessert, coffee and tea.

This is a wonderful way to pass along the legacy of the Peace Corps. Gala Ticket Lottery for Current or Recently Returned Volunteers: Thanks to generous members of the Peace Corps community, NPCA will be hosting a lottery for a number of Gala tickets. If you are a currently serving Peace Corps Volunteer and will be in town during that weekend or you are a recently Returned Volunteer (COS date of 2009 until today) — and you are an NPCA member (first time free!) — you are eligible.
