Happy 50th Birthday Peace Corps!
Calling all Returned Peace Corps Volunteers!
(…and PC staff, friends and family, of course)
All is set! We’re confirmed for another Cairo Returned Peace Corps Volunteer gathering!
Date: Friday, October 28th
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Place: USAID Mission Director’s Villa (Road 81, Villa 47)
This will be a potluck event, so please bring a dish or two to share. Sodas, juice and water will be provided. If you’d like to bring alcoholic beverages for your own consumption and/or to share, please do so. There will be games/activities for kids. We anticipate a mass of people around 1 p.m. for potluck goodies with a short program around 1:30 p.m. (introductions, games/prizes, etc.)
Since Peace Corps is about service, we are exploring options to organize some community service activities that people can contribute to and/or participate in. Please contact Herb Williamson for more information, and/or ideas: hcwillmson@aol.com.
